Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics at Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor to begin fall 2019. A Ph.D. in mathematics is required. The Department seeks accomplished candidates who can enhance the research and educational mission of the department. Applicants should have made major contributions beyond their doctoral research and should have outstanding research potential. Candidates should also have a demonstrated record of excellent teaching and commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. Preference will be given to those candidates who satisfy these conditions and complement one of our existing research groups. Candidates will be expected to support the learning needs of students from diverse backgrounds, and the Department is committed to engaging communities underrepresented in the academy.

All applicants must submit a curriculum vita, a statement of planned research, a statement regarding teaching experience and philosophy, a publication list, and four letters of recommendation.
