Assistant Professor of Mathematics The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) is accepting applications for a full time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics, beginning August 19, 2019.

We seek a colleague who is student focused; can balance a diverse teaching load, scholarly research, and university service; will actively engage with the department and university; and will help us continue to grow the mathematics community at UNK.

The minimum qualifications for the position are an earned doctorate in Mathematics or Mathematics Education; evidence of successful teaching, scholarship, and service. Preference will be given to candidates in areas of              probability theory and stochastic processes, applied math, especially mathematical biology, numerical analysis, or scientific computing.
