| The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the assistant professor level starting in August 2019. A PhD in mathematics or a PhD in statistics (completed by August 15, 2019) is required. All specialties will be considered, but special consideration may be given to applicants with expertise in applied statistics or data science who are interested in inter-disciplinary teaching and scholarship. The ability to teach a broad range of lower-level and upper-level courses is desired. Jacksonville University offers BA and BS degrees in mathematics. The Department is committed to excellence in teaching, classroom use of technology, and small class size. The teaching load is 24 credits per academic year. Online or evening teaching may be required.
