Applications are invited for one postdoctoral research associate within the Department of Mathematics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests align with those of the faculty affiliated with the Carolina Center for Interdisciplinary Applied Mathematics (https://amath.unc.edu), such as Applied Analysis and Mathematical Modeling of Fluids, Stochastic Modeling with Applications, Computational Methods for Nonlinear PDEs. The initial term of the appointment would be for one year, but there is the potential for renewal pending adequate progress and continued availability of funding for up to a three-year total appointment.

A PhD in mathematics or a related field is required.

Experience in Applied Analysis and Mathematical Modeling of Fluids, Stochastic Modeling with Applications, Computational Methods for Nonlinear PDEs.
