Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics at George Washington University invites applications for a visiting assistant professor position in applied and/or computational mathematics. The position is for one year starting in Fall 2019, with the possibility of renewal for another year. The teaching duties of the position include three courses per semester, one of which is a graduate level numerical analysis course.

The minimal qualifications include a PhD in a mathematical science, and evidence of or potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. The desired qualifications include a documented record of published research.
