Faculty of Science and Engineering School of Physical Sciences Department of Mathematical Sciences Lecturer in Applied Mathematics Grade 7/8 £34,188 - £51,630 pa (or pro rata) We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer initially for 3 years with the possibility to become permanent after competitive evaluation after 2+1 years in the area of Applied Mathematics. The posts will be held in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, which is part of the School of Physical Sciences at the University of Liverpool. You should have a PhD in an applied area of Mathematics and have an excellent track record in the areas of Applied Mathematics or a related field including frequent publications in internationally recognised Q1 journals, be proficient in teaching both small and large groups, and have experience of student supervision and curriculum development and the ability to attract external research funding. You will play a part in the development of the department through extending existing research networks within the University, building new networks nationally and internationally.
