The Department of Mathematics at Temple University seeks to fill a non-tenure-track, full-time instructional faculty position, available beginning Fall 2019, at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor of Instruction. The position will carry a 3-3 teaching load (or equivalent) and the appointee will be expected to teach a range of courses. A Masters degree in mathematics is required, and a Ph.D. degree in mathematics is preferred for the Assistant Professor position. Evaluation of submissions will begin immediately, but applications will receive consideration until the position is filled. Applications should include a CV, a letter detailing teaching experience, and at least three letters of recommendation from faculty with direct knowledge of the applicant’s teaching effectiveness.
