The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Davis invites applications for one Assistant Professor (tenure-track) faculty position starting July 1, 2020. This position is open to any area of mathematics. Minimum qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. or its equivalent in the Mathematical Sciences or a related field and demonstrated potential for performance in teaching and research. The Ph.D. needs to be obtained before the beginning of Fall quarter. Duties include mathematical research, undergraduate and graduate teaching, and departmental, university and professional service.
