The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Providence College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Mathematics, commencing Fall 2020. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in mathematics from an accredited institution (or earn one by August 1, 2020). This position is open to all specialties and the department is especially interested in candidates with strong teaching records and/or experience conducting research with undergraduates. The position requires a commitment to undergraduate teaching (nine credit hours per semester), the ability to establish a scholarly research program, and a willingness to be active in service to the department, college and mathematics community.
