Temple University, Department of Mathematics, is seeking one Postdoctoral Assistant Professor in Mathematics (non-tenure track) in the areas of Analysis and Partial Differential Equations. The appointment is for two years, starting July 1st, 2020, with the possibility of extension to a third year per mutual agreement. The teaching load is one course per semester in the first two years.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of Professor Mihaela Ignatova on nonlinear partial differential equations, free boundary problems and nonlocal equations arising in physical and biological sciences. Expertise in harmonic analysis, functional analysis and partial differential equations is welcome, and should be stressed in the cover letter. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in mathematics by the time of appointment.
