The University of Portland’s Department of Mathematics invites applications for renewable appointment at the rank of instructor, to begin in August of 2020. Responsibilities will include teaching lower-level statistics courses (load is 4:4), working with our statistics coordinator and collaborating with other department faculty. Minimum requirement: Masters degree in Statistics or a related field and experience teaching statistics at the undergraduate level.

Anticipated salary will be approximately $51K, pending final budgetary approval. Benefits include: medical & dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, sick time, and tuition remission benefits starting after 90 days (employee) of employment.
