The Department of Mathematics at Texas State University has one opening for a lecturer position to begin Spring 2020.

The initial appointment would be for Spring 2020 semester with the possibility of renewal subject to performance review and funding availability. The successful applicant is expected to teach four courses each semester. At least a Master’s degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education or a closely related field is required; however, a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Mathematics Education is preferred. Candidates whose degree is in a closely related field must meet SACS accreditation standards to teach in a mathematics department.

A complete application consists of: a letter of interest, a current curriculum vitae, a statement of our teaching philosophy, transcripts from all degree-granting institutions, and at least three (3) letters of recommendation addressing teaching ability.
