Postdoc in Dynamical systems

KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm has grown to become one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities, as well as a key centre of intellectual talent and innovation. Job description

This is a two years research position supported by the Wallenberg foundation, with Danijela Damjanovic as supervisor in the area of dynamical systems. The position is aimed to researches NOT based in Sweden. The project is centered around smooth dynamical systems and smooth group actions, with a focus on local and global classification of systems. There is a possibility for the post doc to also teach if he or she is interested in doing so, but this is not mandatory.

As a person, you are motivated to work with your colleagues, and jointly seek solutions to scientific issues. It is good if you have documented interest in dynamic systems and mathematical analysis skills that can be used to analyze chaotic dynamic systems.


A doctoral degree or a PhD degree obtained within the last three years or expected no later than June 2020. Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.

About the employment

The position offered is still valid for at least two years. A position as a postdoctoral fellow is a time-limited qualified appointment focusing mainly on research, intended as a first career step after a dissertation.
