The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Binghamton University invites
applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of
assistant/associate professor beginning Fall 2020. Priority will be given
to applicants in
Topology (or a closely related area) at associate/advanced assistant professor level,
who would complement and strengthen our existing research group, but qualified applicants
in Statistics, Algebra, or Analysis at the assistant professor level will
also receive full consideration. The successful candidate must have a
strong record of
research and teaching. Applications from underrepresented groups and

are especially welcome. The minimal qualification for this position is a doctoral degree (PhD or the
equivalent) in mathematics, statistics, or closely related field.
