The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a visiting position, at the assistant level, in either computer science, statistics, or mathematics for the 2020-2021 academic year. This position is potentially renewable for up to two additional years, based upon success in the first year. Candidates should be able to teach courses in either the computer science, statistics, or mathematics curriculum regularly offered by our department. Teaching load is three courses per semester. The university offers visiting faculty members some support for conference travel and compensation for mentoring undergraduate research. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have a Ph.D. (ABD may be considered) in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates, and potential for excellence in teaching.
