Position Description:    

Tulane University Tenure-Track Position in Statistics 

The Department of Mathematics at Tulane University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Statistics to begin in the fall 2020. Applicants at the Assistant Professor level are preferred but applicants at the Associate Professor level may also be considered. We seek candidates who have established or have demonstrated the potential for a strong record of independent research and are committed to excellence in teaching. We especially encourage applications from candidates whose research includes a methodological component and who have an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration. 

The successful candidates will be expected to (1) develop and carry out a program of research and other scholarly activities; and (2) teach and advise students at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.
