The Hamilton Mathematics Institute TCD (HMI) invites applications for Simons Postdoctoral Fellowship in pure mathematics, starting in the autumn of 2020. This is a two year position funded by the Targeted Grants to Institutes from Simons Foundation. You can visit HMI web page at and School of Mathematics web page at The Hamilton Mathematics Institute (HMI) at Trinity College Dublin was founded in 2005, marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of William Rowan Hamilton - Ireland's greatest mathematician. The HMI's mission is to position Ireland as a centre of excellence for mathematical research.

To apply please submit a curriculum vitae, list of publications and statement of research interests electronically until December 1, 2019. Please also arrange for three letters of recommendation to be written on your behalf. Referees should upload the letters following your application before the deadline of December 1, 2019.

Preference will be given to candidates with a strong research record in the fields represented in the School of Mathematics and the Hamilton Mathematics Institute: Algebra, Algebraic Geometry, Complex analysis, Partial Differential Equations.
