We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Analytic Number Theory to work with Professor James Maynard at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. This is a 3 year fixed term position and funded by ERC Starting Grant 851318.

The successful applicant should have a background and interest in analytic number theory (interpreted broadly), and the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration. They will perform and manage mathematical research projects in Analytic Number Theory, under the supervision Professors Maynard, and write the results up for publication. They will be a member of the number theory research group at Oxford and participate in the activities of the group.

Applicants will have, or be close to completing, a PhD in Mathematics or a related discipline together with the ability to manage their own academic research and associated activities and excellent communication skills.
