The Drake University Department of Mathematics and Computer Science seeks two outstanding teachers for a nine-month full-time positions at the level of Visiting Instructor of Mathematics beginning August 2020. A PhD (completion by August 2020) in mathematics or a related field is required. Any research areas are welcome. Research specialties among our faculty include applied mathematics, the history of mathematics, the theory of computation, and mathematics education. Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and be able to teach core mathematics courses such as Pre-Calculus and Calculus. The course load is 21 credit hours per year. Our courses are typically 3-4 credit hours.
