The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Mount Allison University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Applied Mathematics and Data Science/Statistics. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Data Science/Statistics, or a relevant discipline. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a subset of applied mathematics and data science/statistics courses (see calendar descriptions here) and is expected to develop a strong, externally funded research program with links to disciplines outside mathematics.

The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor and will commence on July 1, 2020, subject to budgetary approval.

Mount Allison University, located in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada is a small primarily undergraduate university offering small classes and a residential experience to a diverse student population.
