*** The account for DTU Compute, Technical University of Denmark has expired. ***

Dear colleague,

We are happy to announce two summer internships at DTU, the Technical University of Denmark, in the summer of 2020 – sponsored by the research initiative CUQI: Computational Uncertainty Quantification for Inverse Problems (  These internships allow master students a unique chance to build on their acquired skills, and to obtain experience with research in computational methods and applications of uncertain quantification to inverse problems in science and engineering. We will sponsor travel to Denmark, travel insurance, and reasonable accommodation expenses near DTU.

We will select two applicants based on their application letter, their background, and their motivation for obtaining an internship.  Applicants must be enrolled in a Master’s degree program, fluent in spoken and written English, and familiar with:

  • Numerical analysis, specifically linear algebra and numerical optimization.
  • Mathematical modeling and simulation.
  • Inverse problems and/or Bayesian inference/inversion.
  • Programming in Matlab.

The deadline is 19 April 2020.

Project descriptions of the two summer internships can be found here:
