The Department of Mathematics at Boston College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, to begin with the Fall 2020 semester.

There is the possibility that the position could be renewed for one or two additional years.

Candidates should be excellent teachers and research active. This position carries a 3-2 teaching load. A PhD in mathematics by time of appointment is required.

Applications must include a curriculum vitae, teaching statement, and four or more letters of recommendation, with at least TWO addressing the candidate’s teaching qualifications.
