The engineering school is its largest division, with a continuous full-time enrollment of approximately 500 students majoring in chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. The degree programs provide a rigorous analytical curriculum that fosters inclusiveness and collaboration, and each enrolled student receives at least a half-tuition scholarship.

(1) A cover letter that specifically addresses how the applicant’s teaching, research, and service interests will both enhance and complement the existing strengths of the Department of Mathematics at Cooper Union; (2) A curriculum vitae; (3) A statement of teaching philosophy; (4) A statement of research interests; (5) A statement about diversity and inclusion; (6) Three letters of recommendation, at least one of which addresses the candidate’s teaching methods and evidence pertaining to pedagogical outcomes.
