The University of Notre Dame’s Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics (ACMS) seeks to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor in Statistics. Opportunities exist to teach both graduate-level and undergraduate-level statistics and applied mathematics courses such as statistical computing, time series, and nonlinear dynamical systems. Qualifications: The successful applicant must have a doctorate in statistics, mathematics, or a closely related field, and a record of success in teaching. The teaching load for this position is two courses per semester for a total of 4 courses per year. The position begins in August 2021.
