| Position Description: Eastern Oregon University seeks a dynamic teacher to fill a one-year, sabbatical replacement position in the Mathematics Program beginning in the fall of 2010. The successful candidate will teach an array of undergraduate math classes including college algebra and trigonometry, calculus, and discrete mathematics. Evidence of successful experience teaching undergraduate mathematics courses is required.
The candidate must be committed to ensuring that every student, faculty and staff member is a full member of the EOU community and that all community members recognize, promote and take advantage of the educational and cultural value of diversity.
Education/Experience: A Ph.D. in mathematics, applied mathematics, or statistics from a regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent is required (ABD will be considered). Rank: This is a full-time, nine-month, fixed term appointment to be filled at the assistant professor rank. Appointment begins September 16, 2010.
