| The Mathematics Department of Claremont McKenna College invites applications for a tenure-track position in mathematics to begin July 1, 2011. Preference will be given to those with research expertise in any branch of applied mathematics. The position is at the Assistant Professor rank. The successful candidate should hold a Ph.D. in mathematics and must have the demonstrated ability to maintain both an active research program and the highest standards of excellence in teaching. The teaching load at CMC is 2 courses per semester.

Letters of recommendation are required from three or more references and should evaluate the candidate’s research and teaching.
