| The Department of Mathematics at Drexel University invites applications for two 9-month, renewable, non tenure track, full time teaching faculty positions for 2010-11. Applicants are required to hold a MS or Ph.D. in a Mathematical Science or equivalent, and to be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching beginning and advanced students. A Ph.D. is required to be hired at the Assistant Teaching Professor level. The main duties will be 12 credit hours of teaching per 10 week term (or equivalent as assigned by the Department Head), holding regularly scheduled office hours, and meeting with students outside of class. Other duties may include advising students about course and career options, participating in curriculum planning and updating, and working with colleagues within the department and the university on curriculum and pedagogical issues.
