| The Department of Mathematics is accepting applications for an assistant professor (tenure-track) position beginning August 29, 2011. Applications are invited in all areas of mathematics. Candidates should exhibit evidence of outstanding research potential, normally including significant contributions beyond the doctoral dissertation. An application packet should include a completed AMS Standard Cover Sheet, a curriculum vitae which includes a publication list, and brief descriptions of research and teaching. Application packets should be submitted electronically to http://www.mathjobs.org. Applicants should also arrange to have sent, to the above URL address, three to four letters of recommendation, at least one of which must discuss the applicant's teaching experiences and capabilities and potential.
