| Postdoctoral Program:
Under the leadership of Wei-Ming Ni, Xingbin Pan and Feng Zhou, this newly established Center will have at least 3 postdoctoral positions for research available starting September, 2012.
The positions are intended for young researchers with Ph. D. degrees in mathematics or related fields. An applicant is expected to have a strong research record in at least one of the following areas:
1. Analysis
2. Computation
3. Modeling
(Candidates with cross disciplinary trainings are encouraged to apply.)
While there are no formal teaching duties, postdoctoral fellows are expected to participate in the Center’s activities, including attending seminars and giving presentations on research topics of interests.
Salaries and benefits are highly competitive. Each postdoctoral position, renewable up to three years, carries an annual salary up to 100,000 RMB: 60,000 RMB as base salary (guaranteed) and 40,000 RMB as merit increments – depending on individual performance. In addition, for each such position a grant of 20,000 RMB will be provided for professional development each year.
