Postdoctoral Fellowships in Mathematics 

The Department of Mathematics at KTH, Stockholm, Sweden, invites
applications for postdoctoral fellowships

A suitable background for this position is a PhD in Mathematics. A
candidate is expected to conduct research in Number Theory, possibly
with connections to dynamics and/or mathematical physics.

Candidates cannot have their PhD degrees from KTH or the Stockholm
area. Candidates must not have obtained their PhD degrees earlier than
January 1, 2007. Those who have not finished their PhD studies when
applying must obtain their PhD degrees before June 1, 2012.

Duration

The duration of the stay is 12 months, with a good possibility of
prolongation for an additional 12 months, beginning during September
2012.

Application

An application should contain a curriculum vitae, a list of
publications, a description of research (maximum 3 pages) and two or
three letters of recommendation, sent directly by the recommenders and
not the applicant.

The last date for applications is February 1, 2012. Applications
received after this date may not receive full consideration. Please
