|The Department of Mathematics at Oklahoma State University invites applications for four Clinical Instructor positions. These are non-tenure-track faculty positions offering an initial three-year appointment with annual review. Primary duties are teaching of entry-level mathematics courses, classroom supervision of graduate teaching assistants and lecturers, course coordination, communication with other departments on campus regarding course content, and development of curriculum and other innovations to help improve student learning and success in mathematics. One of the appointees will also serve as an academic advisor for mathematics majors and for all students regarding issues related to mathematics placement and prerequisites. Candidates should have a record of excellence in teaching, commitment to student learning and success, strong leadership ability, and outstanding communication skills. A Masters degree in mathematics or mathematics education and experience in college-level mathematics instruction at the entry level are required. A Ph.D. and classroom experience in the supervision of mathematics instruction and instructors are desirable.|
