| The successful candidate will typically instruct 12 credit hours per semester, and is expected to teach a variety of mathematics and statistics courses including developmental for students in all majors both graduate and undergraduate students and elementary mathematics for students who plan to teach. We are especially eager to attract a person with expertise and interest in quantitative literacy and the infusion of this throughout the curriculum. The position requires advising students, participating in curriculum development, academic support services, and student recruitment and admissions. Teaching assignments may include weekdays and Saturdays. The ideal applicant should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics, a record of excellence in teaching and the ability to use technology and eBooks in the classroom as well as online, a strong commitment to student-centeredness and quality education for women, and the ability to work with a diverse student population as part of a collaborative team.
