One Tenure-Track Position Available in Mathematics
Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Mathematics at the assistant professor level beginning in August 2013.
Candidates for this position are required to have a Ph. D. in mathematics by the time of appointment and to be willing to teach various undergraduate mathematics courses.
Candidates must also have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate mathematics. Duties for this position include teaching three courses per semester at all levels of undergraduate mathematics. The Department offers majors in both mathematics and computational mathematics and graduates approximately 15 majors per year.
Hillsdale College, founded in 1844, is an independent, coeducational, four-year liberal arts college of 1,400 students. Hillsdale has traditionally upheld two concepts: academic excellence and institutional independence.
