The Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences, University of Toronto Mississauga, invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor with an expected start date of July 1, 2014.
Candidates with research expertise in Algebra or Number Theory will be given preference; however, exceptional candidates in any field of mathematics are encouraged to apply.
The University of Toronto is an international leader in mathematics research and education. The successful candidate for this position will be an active member of the Graduate Department of Mathematics at the University of Toronto. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in mathematics and must demonstrate excellent accomplishments and outstanding promise in research, and must show evidence of excellence in teaching. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
