The Department of Mathematics, Miami University, invites
applications for a Lecturer position starting
in Fall 2014.
This is a continuing position subject to annual renewal. Required qualifications include a strong record of teaching mathematics at the post-secondary level and a master’s degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics; a Ph.D. is preferred. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses (primarily calculus and precalculus), advising, and service to the department. The position may also involve coordinating sections of high-enrollment courses such as calculus or precalculus. See cas.miamiOH.edu/math for details on the department.

They should also arrange for three letters of reference to be submitted to mathjobs.org; these letters should address the candidate's teaching ability and potential.
