Applications are invited for one tenure-track position in Number Theory at the assistant professor level beginning July 2017. Hiring at the associate professor level may be considered. We seek highly qualified candidates who have a commitment to excellence in both teaching and research. A Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related area is required. The department has eighteen tenure-track faculty, two teaching professionals and four teacher-scholar postdocs. The department offers both a B.A. and a B.S. in Mathematics, a B.A. and a B.S. in Mathematical Statistics, a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Mathematics, and a B.S. in each of Mathematical Business and Mathematical Economics. The department has a graduate program offering an M.A. with a track in each of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics. The (untenured) tenure-track teaching load is two courses per semester.
