|The Department of Mathematics in the College of Science and Technology at Armstrong State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. While all specializations will be considered, preference will be given to candidates with experience in actuarial science, statistics, or mathematical biology.
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or mathematics education, or an Ed.D. with a specialization in mathematics (completed by the date of appointment); demonstrated evidence of a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, as well as scholarship and commitment to diversity and inclusion; a willingness to engage students in research; a scholarly research agenda appropriate for a university emphasizing undergraduate education; and excellent oral and written communication skills.
