Tenure Track Professorship of Stochastic Analysis

effective October 1st, 2020.

The position is funded in the context of the joint program for the promotion of early career researchers by the German federal and state-governments.

The successful candidate is expected to have outstanding knowledge of stochastic analysis with connections to partial differential equations and an excellent research record in a current field that complements and strengthens research areas of the department, in particular in stochastics and analysis. The successful applicant is expected to teach in the bachelor and master programs in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Basic requirements are a university degree and a doctorate. The position is a tenure track position leading to an appointment as a W3 professor. If your evaluation is positive, you will obtain tenure as a W3 professor after completing a simplified version of the professorial appointment process.
