Saint Martin’s University, a private Catholic, Benedictine university located in Western Washington invites applications for a full-time instructor position in mathematics to begin January 2020. An advanced degree in Mathematics or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with significant teaching experience in areas of lower level mathematics, such as intermediate algebra, pre-calculus algebra and trigonometry, and introductory statistics. Teaching load will average 30 semester credit hours per year. The successful candidate will be able to teach in multiple formats (online or face-to-face), will be willing to teach both daytime and evening courses, and will be required to teach at multiple campus locations (Lacey or Joint Base Lewis-McChord).

Faculty members are expected to support the Catholic, Benedictine liberal arts mission of the university. Candidates must have valid documentation permitting them to work in the US from the date on which the appointment at Saint Martin’s takes effect. The position is subject to final budgetary approval.
