Department: Mathematics Field/Specialty: Mathematics Position Type: Three-Year Term Review of Applications: Begin on March 2, 2020 and continue until the position is filled The Department of Mathematics at DePauw University invites applications for a 3-year term position beginning July 1, 2020 at the rank of Assistant Professor. Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field required. Applicants completing their Ph.D. will be considered if completed by July 1, 2020 A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential. The department specifically seeks candidates to teach introductory courses in mathematics and statistics. Ability to teach Differential Equations is preferred. Teaching assignment is six courses per year and funding is available for professional development and research with undergraduate students.
