The Department of Mathematical and
Statistical Sciences at Marquette University seeks to hire multiple full-time,
non-tenure track faculty positions for the 2020-2021 academic year. The
Department seeks candidates with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate
mathematics. Preference given to candidates with experience teaching calculus
and the ability to teach large lectures. The ability to teach statistics
courses and/or contribute to the research mission of the Department is a plus. Applicants should possess at least a master’s
degree in mathematics or a related field; a PhD is preferred. The teaching load is expected to be 3 - 4 sections per semester, depending on class size. Teaching responsibilities include class preparation, assigning readings and homework, grading exams and papers, assigning midterm and final grades, and holding at least 3 regularly scheduled office hours per week.
