Hale Assistant Professorship (HAP): The School of Mathematics at Georgia Tech invites applications for up to five (at least one) non-tenure track Hale Assistant Professorships for Fall 2021. These positions are intended for recent PhDs and priority will be given to those candidates who: (1) show the potential to carry out research of exceptional quality at Georgia Tech; (2) complement existing strengths in the School of Mathematics; and (3) have a demonstrated commitment to high quality teaching. Consistent with these priorities, candidates will be considered in all areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Applications by highly qualified candidates from groups underrepresented in the mathematical sciences are particularly encouraged. A Ph.D. (or its equivalent) in Mathematics or a closely related field is required. The position consists of a three-year research and teaching appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School. In addition to a reduced teaching load in the first year, the fellowship includes research funding.
