The School of Mathematics at Georgia Tech invites applications for Geometry-Topology RTG (Research Training Group) Postdoctoral Positions for Fall 2021. These positions are intended for recent PhDs and priority will be given to those candidates who: (1) show the potential to carry out research of exceptional quality at Georgia Tech; (2) complement existing strengths in the Geometry-Topology group at Georgia Tech. These appointments include teaching duties, and to be eligible for these non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professorship opportunities, candidates must (3) have a demonstrated commitment to high quality teaching. The anticipated teaching load is 1 course per semester.

These positions are renewable annually for a total of up to three years. Summer funding and travel support is available.

Applicants must have received their PhD in 2019 or later; exceptions may be made in special cases, for example, for career interruptions. Applications by highly qualified candidates from groups underrepresented in the mathematical sciences are particularly encouraged.

Due to NSF rules, the position is restricted to US citizens, nationals and permanent residents.
