The Department of Mathematics at Colgate University invites applications for a tenure-stream position in Statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning fall semester 2021. Completion of the Ph.D. is expected prior to, or shortly after, the date of hire.

The Department of Mathematics is looking for a Statistician who will contribute to curricular development in the upper level statistics curriculum, mentor student projects and support our current offerings in statistics. The successful candidate may have research interests in some area of Bayesian statistics, time-series, stochastic processes, statistical learning, biostatistics, and/or computational methods, though all areas of statistics will be fully considered. All Colgate faculty participate in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum.
