THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES LECTURER IN ACTUARIAL AND FINANCIAL
MATHEMATICS GRADE 7/8 £34,805 - £52,560 pa (or pro rata) The
Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Liverpool is seeking
to appoint a Lecturer in the area of Actuarial and Financial Mathematics to
invigorate its research and teaching profile. Expansion
in this field is of strategic importance to the University and as such there is
major investment behind its Institute for Financial and Actuarial Mathematics.
You should have a PhD in Mathematics and excellent research achievements in
Actuarial or Financial Mathematics or related fields including frequent
publications in internationally recognised journals, be proficient in teaching
both small and large groups, and have experience of student supervision and
curriculum development. You
will play a part in the development of the institute through extending existing
research networks within the University, building new networks nationally and
internationally and contributing to the development of the institutes' role
within the region. We encourage applications from mathematicians working in any
field of Actuarial or Financial Mathematics or related fields. The
