NYU Shanghai seeks several postdoctoral fellowship positions in Mathematics. The fellows will be part of the NYU-ECNU Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU Shanghai, which is built with the collaboration and help of the Courant Institute and East China Normal University (ECNU). The areas of expertise of possible mentors in the group are currently mainly in probability and partial differential equations, but candidates in all domains of mathematics will be considered.

The teaching load will be of four recitation sections every year, with corresponding office hours and grading duties. The postdoctoral fellow can also be encouraged to teach a class instead of some recitations during his term.

The positions are available starting September 1, 2021 for up to two years. A later starting date is also possible in some cases. Compensation and benefits are comparable to U.S. institutions and the fellows may also be eligible for small travel grants.
