The postdoctoral positions are for all areas of mathematics, computer sciences and related areas in physics starting from 2021. The position is for two years with the possibility of extension up to one more year with annual salary ranges from 300,000 RMB to 500,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications.

Each postdoc needs to choose a mentor from BIMSA or YMSC or CAS. The mentor will guide the research of the postdoc. There is no official teaching duty at BIMSA for postdocs and each postdoc can choose to teach classes at Tsinghua University and work with Tsinghua undergraduate and graduate students. There is sufficient research funding support for postdocs including a generous travel grant for collaboration with top research centers around the world. There are also opportunities to work with other departments at Tsinghua, CAS and industries. BIMSA provides support for the relocation process. Successful postdocs have the possibilities to be offered tenure track or permanent positions at BIMSA or YMSC.
