Baylor seeks to fill the following position in the Department of Mathematics, College of Arts and Sciences:

Postdoctoral Research Associate

This research position is funded by Baylor’s OVPR postdoctoral hiring program. The position is for two years, and is expected to start as early as July 2022.  Candidates are expected to do research in collaboration with Dr. Tao Mei, who will be the postdoctoral supervisor. An ideal candidate should be a recent PhD with expertise in the area of noncommutative analysis (e.g. noncommutative harmonic analysis, free probability, noncommutative geometry, operator algebras) and its application to quantum information theory. Strong potential for obtaining external funding is desirable.
