The Department of Mathematics (http://www.sas.rochester.edu/mth/) at the University of Rochester invites applications for several non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor positions for new or recent PhDs. The positions are for two years, renewable for a third upon satisfactory performance, and carry a 2-2 annual teaching load. Qualifications include a PhD in mathematics, strong evidence of excellence in the teaching of undergraduates, and outstanding promise in research. Areas represented by the department, including algebraic topology, analysis, combinatorics, differential geometry and global analysis, number theory, and probability, will be preferred. Consideration of applicants will begin November 15, 2020 and continue until the positions are filled.
