The Department of Mathematics at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in pure Mathematics at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2021.

 

Qualified applicants in Algebraic Geometry and closely related fields are encouraged to apply. Outstanding candidates in areas of strength of the department may also be considered. Ideal candidates would complement our existing strengths, show promise as effective educators, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive environment within the department and at the University of Utah.

 

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field, a demonstrated record of excellent research and dedication to teaching and mentoring.

 

Review of applications will begin on the 15th of November 2020 and will continue until the position is filled.
